We are pleased to announce Jerome Davis, regional vice president for Xcel Energy – Colorado, is the 2020 9NEWS Leader of the Year.

Selected with votes cast by more than 1,000 alumni of the Leadership Foundation, along with members of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and B:CIVIC, Jerome was a finalist for the award with Luis Benitez of VF Corporation and Tasha Jones of Brookfield Properties.

See Jerome on 9NEWS at 4 p.m. on Friday with anchor Tom Green. And get to know all of our finalists in a special Denver Business Journal insert on newsstands tomorrow.

Get to know Jerome.

We also recognized the Student Leader of the Year, presented in partnership with the Boettcher Foundation. Carmyn Ginnetti is a junior at Colorado State University, and she has dedicated her college career to helping fellow students navigate campus life, with a focus on coaching and mentoring both as a resident assistant and through her role as a public achievement coach.
