Earlier this month we celebrated three years with B:CIVIC. We’re thrilled that we can harness not only the power of individuals and their civic engagement through the Leadership Foundation, but also support businesses to do more good in the community through B:CIVIC.
See what B:CIVIC has been up to this past year:
Empowering Business Professionals. B:CIVIC kept professionals passionate who are about corporate social responsibility (CSR) engaged this past year – holding 25 events with nearly 1,000 attendees. They also supported 80 CSR certifications through their partnership with University of Colorado Boulder Leeds School of Business and created a Strategic Disaster Response Toolkit to help businesses create a proactive, strategic approach to disaster response and build resiliency. Find out how you can connect with B:CIVIC.
Colorado Companies Uniting Against Racism. Colorado CEOs banded together with their peers to take a pledge to confront inherent inequalities and demand diversity, equity and inclusion in all that we do to act against racial injustice. B:CIVIC organized 140 companies to sign that pledge to advance racial equity, and in March, those companies reported their bold actions to date. Learn more and stay tuned for an update on pledge signers’ progress this fall.
Join us at the Virtual B:CIVIC Summit Act to Achieve | CSR Accelerated on Oct. 26-27. The 2021 Summit is designed to engage and back professionals as they Act to Achieve impact and accelerate CSR collectively. This conference is led by an outstanding cohort of speakers representing a range of businesses, industries and approaches to CSR. The Summit will feature 12 workshop sessions following four tracks: community impact, employee experience, building the business case and telling our story. Register.
We’re excited to continue to support our alumni and their organizations as they lead to elevate business for good in our community this year. Learn more about engaging with B:CIVIC and its 150 member companies and organizations.
