More Ways to Engage and Give Back

We know our alumni lead by example – you bring that same passion and commitment to the community to your office. Giving and volunteering through your work, and inspiring your co-workers to join you, is a key part of community engagement, and one that you often take a role in, which is why we partnered with B:CIVIC this past fall. B:CIVIC helps companies of all sizes develop their strategy for how they want to engage their team, give back to our community and have a meaningful impact. We’re always looking for ways to shine a spotlight on the incredible work our alumni and their organizations are engaging in – it’s why we are helping launch The Civic 50 in Colorado.

What is the Civic 50? It’s a national initiative led by Points of Light that recognizes the 50 most community-minded companies as determined by an annual survey developed by True Impact. Colorado has been chosen as the second community in the country to offer a regional version of The Civic 50 that will honor companies for their impact in the community. Our local version will be launched in partnership with B:CIVIC and CSR Solutions, allowing us to celebrate organizations in Colorado.

No matter the size of your company, we want to hear about what you’re doing in the community. Join B:CIVIC on April 24 for its networking happy hour, Sparks ‘n Sips, to learn more about The Civic 50 and how you can apply. Colorado honorees will be recognized at the B:CIVIC Summit in September.

You’ll be inspired by the amazing work that companies are doing in our community and at a national level – we certainly are! Learn more about how companies are giving back.

Join us at the Civic 50 kickoff. Leadership Foundation alums can use the promo code LFAlum to attend at no charge.

And, if your company is interested in participating, register for a free training on the process on April 25.

Alumni if you’re looking for other ways to give back to your community join us at our Alumni Volunteer Days to support local nonprofits, starting with Metro Caring sponsored by TIAA on May 20. Sign up today, because space is limited.
